Cheryl Strand has a degree in Philosophy and is an accredited Facilitator of The Thinking Environment and a Thinking Partner/ Coach. She has also studied through the Presencing Institute’s U.Lab and participated in a Facilitator Development Program with The Work That Reconnects. In the 1980s she co-founded, lived and worked in an interracial community in a poor neighbourhood. More recently she has co-managed a specialist bookshop and been a stay-at-home mom. She lives in Cape Town with her husband, son and canine friend, enjoys painting and walking, meditates daily, and tries to remember the breath.
